Description: | The book presents laboratory works in classical topics of telecommunications theory – signal generation, spectral analysis of signals, formation of baseband and passband modulated signals and transmition of modulated signals through band limited channel. Also forward error correction methods using convolutional and cyclic codes are presented. Every laboratory work starts with theoretical presentation of corresponding topic. Also demonstrational programs, illustrating programming / simulation techniques for every laboratory work, are presented. The programs are written in Python programming language. Labs are formulated in such a way that student must write a short simulation program for every task.
