Abstract: Bank reliability from the viewpoint of natural customers is a complex phenomenon described by a set of evaluation criteria. Therefore, multicriteria evaluation methods, allowing us to integrate multidimensional and oppositely directed criteria into a single generalizing value and to determine their significances to a research object, may be effectively used for banks’ ranking. PROMETHEE methods are more sophisticated, advanced and logical compared to other multicriteria evaluation methods. The evaluation results yielded by a particular method depend on the selection of preference function of any particular criterion and determination of its parameters. Thus, the experience of a decision-maker is important for evaluation.
