Abstract: The investigation results of the open circular gyroelectric waveguides with two layers of dielectric material added to the gyroelectric core of the waveguide are presented in this paper. The comparison of models of n-InAs and n-InSb waveguides is performed in order to estimate the dependencies of the attenuation of the electromagnetic waves in these models of waveguides. Models of n-InAs and n-InSb waveguides are also compared by estimating the attenuation dependencies on the longitudinal magnetic flux density. The performed investigation showed that it is possible to receive 1.73 times higher attenuation of the electromagnetic waves using n-InSb waveguides instead of n-InAs.
