Abstract: | In this study new numerical models were developed and applied to the analysis of the
performance of precision optical encoder operating in non-ideal environments. Numerical
simulation and experimental examination of imperfections in the generated waves were carried
out to examine the influence of various factors affecting the encoder accuracy. |
